Lawrence, Kansas, 2005:​

A young Josh Winegarner notices a flyer on the University of Kansas campus for a 48 hour film competition. He signs up. Later he informs his friends Mike Karlin and Aubry Peters that they are making a movie that coming weekend. 

 

Throughout the years, they collaborate and make multiple short films, adding their friend Dustin Hall into the mix.

 

In 2009, Aubry Peters begins work on a script that would become their first feature, Affection/Affectation. In the casting process he meets a talented young actor named Davis DeRock. The two become quick friends and go on to collaborate on multiple projects, including PMP Productions' second feature, Dire Digest.
